Vertical Business Development Manager (w/m/d) Stadium  

As Vertical Business Development Manager Stadium, you will be the key driver for the expansion of our business in the area of sports facilities and stadiums. Your focus will be on sustainably expanding existing customer relationships and tapping into new market potential and customers. Together with the country sales managers and local system integrators, you will identify promising projects and bring them to a successful conclusion. In your role as an expert for stadium solutions, you will also act as an interface between sales, marketing, product development and end customers. Developing your existing extensive industry network and continuous relationship management in committees and industry associations round off your job profile.

The aim of the position is to build up and expand the global business with the proven and established Dallmeier solutions for stadium security.

Tasks and responsibilities

Business development and customer acquisition

  • Expansion of existing customer relationships in the sports facility and stadium sector and active development of new market potential and end customers worldwide, with a particular focus on Europe.
  • Strategic cooperation with local sales managers and system integrators to identify, initiate and successfully complete promising projects
  • Contact and expert for stadium solutions to advise customers on the selection and implementation of suitable technologies.
  • Continuous market and competition analysis for early recognition of new trends and adaptation of our sales strategy. Continuous pipeline management and reporting to the international sales management.

Interface and project management

  • Active support of projects from conception to implementation and aftercare in close cooperation with end customers and sales partners to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Close cooperation and regular coordination with the sales, marketing and product development departments in order to optimally implement customer-specific requirements.

Network development and industry engagement

  • Active maintenance and strategic development of an existing network from industry contacts, system integrators and end customers in the sports facility sector.
  • Representation of Dallmeier in committees and relevant industry associations in order to strengthen the company's position in the market and recognise trends at an early stage.
  • Participation in and organization of industry events, conferences and trade fairs to promote Dallmeier's visibility and positioning as a leading provider of stadium solutions.

Marketing & expert knowledge

  • Participation in the creation of marketing materials and targeted content, such as white papers, technical articles and case studies, to address target customers and position Dallmeier as the market leader in the stadium segment.
  • Support marketing in the planning and implementation of events as well as in the design of campaign-specific content and activities to increase brand presence.
  • Promoting the internal exchange of knowledge and continuous further training by passing on and training the knowledge and best practices gained within the company.

Your profile

  • Professional experience: Several years of experience in business development, sales or project management in the stadium and sports facility market or in security technology, ideally in an international environment.
  • Specialist and sales knowledge: Strong understanding of the specific requirements and technological solutions in the stadium and sports venue sector. Experience in end customer sales and/or working with system integrators and other sales partners.
  • Network and industry knowledge: An existing network in the sports facility and stadium industry as well as experience in working with industry associations and committees is an advantage.
  • Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
    • High customer orientation paired with a strategic mindset.
    • Independent, structured way of working with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work in a team.
  • Language skills: Business fluent in German and English; other foreign languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel: High willingness to travel internationally, especially within Europe.
